Thanks for posting! Here is the Bishop Ireton press release:

Bishop Ireton High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Dwayne Bryant as its new athletic director. Bryant will assume his duties at Bishop Ireton once his current contract ends in June 2020.

Bryant has worked for the past three years at Trinity Episcopal School in Austin, Texas as their Director of Athletics and Physical Education. Prior to his time in Texas, he lived and worked in the Washington, DC area for 22 years. In those 22 years, he served as a teacher and coach at T.C. Williams High School; as Varsity Men’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Dean of Admissions and Alumni Relations at Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Md.; as Director of Athletics at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, Md.; and as Director of Athletics at the McLean School in Potomac, Md. His administrative experience and his commitment to excellence in academics and outstanding athletics make Bryant a tremendous fit for Bishop Ireton High School.
"We are tremendously excited to have Mr. Bryant join our team here at Bishop Ireton. He brings a wealth of experience in athletics and high school programming,” said Head of School Kathleen McNutt. “As our school grows in myriad ways, Dwayne is exactly the person we need to lead our athletic department into the future. His vision and expertise will shape our athletic program and community for years to come and I’m thrilled to welcome him as the newest member of our Cardinal family.”
Bryant looks forward to returning to Alexandria, Virginia, where he began his teaching and coaching career. “I am extremely excited about the opportunity to lead the Bishop Ireton athletic program. I look forward to working with everyone in the Bishop Ireton community to fulfill the mission of the school through athletics,” said Bryant.

Bryant graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He played basketball for the Georgetown Hoyas, where he was a four-year starter.
Mr. Bill Simmons will continue as the interim athletic director until June 2020, when Mr. Bryant arrives.
